And the Doctors are in! On Tuesday we were blessed to host a clinic at the school. Dr. Ed brought in a team of 10 people to the school and they saw about 200 patients! We pray that they were a blessing to the community and that the community was a blessing to them.
Here is the set-up of the clinic This was the waiting area outside the door
They were short one translator so I attempted it... hopefully I didn't miss anything big
Oh yeah Baby!

Our personal blog sharing: how the LORD has been working in our lives; updates of the work that is being done, as we are privileged to share in it; ramblings about what we are learning and have experienced; prayer requests, as we belong to a community of believers and know of our deep dependence on the LORD, as all these things are in Him, through Him, and for Him; and sharing, hopefully, a little of our personality.

just chugging along...
stubbing your toe isn't always such a bad thing....
Dr. Ed's first week... he saw 50 patients on the third day. This is the waiting area on the side of the school... for all of you who have been here before, it cleaned up nicely didn't it?
We pray that this clinic may be blessed and continue to be a blessing to many people

Beautiful Worship
Worship this morning was beautiful. It was amazing sitting there and listening to a young girl choir accompanied by the rest of the congregation singing
"Come Lord Jesus Come
Come Lord Jesus Come"
... oh may those sweet words be answered soon.
Preferably in my understanding of soon....

The deJonge Rents were in town!
Mom & Dad deJonge came and visited here in Haiti for a week and then we headed over to the DR for a week. We had a great time with them. I think they were a little overwhelmed at first but they got the hang of it. We also spent many a night playing Settlers with Dad, don't worry we put him in his place despite what he may tell you :)
Here we are up at Fort Jacques, Mom & Dad's fist day here, they look a little tense don't they?
Mom painting with Wisly and Guerdson
Dad and Samuel building me a little shelf for supplies in the office
And the two newest additions to the family, Droppie & Dukey, this when we first got them three weeks ago and they've already grown a ton!
Doing homework after school... not always their own....

Kindergarten children after they made their crowns
A typical sighting here on the street
