Fun at Home!

*Special Post for Grandparents*
Here are some pictures of Maia and Levi from the last month having some fun at home! Both are doing really well. Maia's new favourite is puzzles, she loves to spend time with Mommy or Daddy on the mats working on her puzzles. She also loves to tell stories, her vocabulary is very limited but that doesn't hinder her from babbling and acting out her tales. Levi is sitting and doing the army crawl. He just recently started eating baby food and would probably eat the spoon if we let him he loves eating so much. Enjoy the Pictures!

Flag Day

May 18 is a holiday here in Haiti in which they celebrate flag day, the day the took the white out of the French flag and created the Haitian flag. The day before at the school staff and students celebrated with a fun program doing a little March arount the courtyard with their Haitian flags as well as other fun activities with the students body. Unfortunately we missed the festivities at the school but Levi had his own little celebration at home with his Haitian flag however we put on the Canadian bib so he wasn't confused as to what nationality he is!

Teacher Appreciation Day

May 17 was teacher appreciation day in Haiti and since we appreciate our teachers immensely we had a little party to celebrate them! Pizza, pop and fellowship, it doesn't really get much better than that. Cheers to a dedicated and committed staff who we love!

Two years ago today the Lord blessed us with a precious gift. We treasure our little girl, Maia Joy, and daily thank the Lord for her.

Maia, we love you and we pray that this next year as you soak up the wonders of this world that your little mind will more and more come to realize what an awesome God you have and his deep deep love for you. Holding you in prayer sweet one.

More Clinic Days

The team has been travelling around Port au Prince a bit doing clinics in a variety of places. Each place has it's joys and it's challenges and the team continues to provice some medical relief to individuals as well as be an encouragement where they set up clinic. Enjoy a few of the pictures from the last couple of days.

Medical Team

A Medical Team has been here for almost a week now... sorry for the belated posting, our internet has been very temperamental lately! Here are a few pictures from their first couple days of clinic at Adoration and a church close to Citi Militaire. The team has been a huge encouragment and blessing to the communities in which they are serving.
Enjoy the pictures!
