Profession of Faith

The church that we attend here in Port au Prince, L'Eglise Presbytérienne Réformée de Delmas, continues to grow in numbers. It's been an exciting time for our church. A couple of weeks ago they held interviews for people who wanted to become members and as a result of that a number of people came forward who wanted to publicly profess their faith. On Sunday, March 13 we were able to witness this beautiful event. It was an extra special service for us because Cadeau, Samuel and Yder were among those professing their faith. Board Visit

The last week has been pretty much chalked full with meetings. Carina, Hilary and Steve joined us for a week to discuss future plans of Adoration. It was a good time of reflection and planning. Steve's son Cam also joined us and took some great pictures while we were out and about. Please keep Haiti in your prayers this weekend as the elections are on Sunday and the rumour going around is that Aristide is on his way back to Haiti. Praying for peace.

Derek, Frank and Marc just flew out yesterday. Thank you guys very much for all the work you did at the centre. It was very much appreciated and will make life at the centre more organized and efficient. It was great having you and being able to share with you a little of our lives here in Haiti.
